The most expensive historical cinema ‘Sangolli Rayanna’ is adding new feathers in to its cap. Producer Anand Appugol is providing all the technical needs for his ambitious project. For the first time the Helicopter fitted camera (Helicam) is used for the film war shooting at Jaipur says director Naganna.

Taking time from the busy schedule Naganna spoke to this correspondent over telephone and said the durbar scenes of Kittur Rani Chennamma are shot in prominent studios in Hyderabad and soon the film ‘Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ will reach Gokak for the major victory song shooting.

Director Naganna with expertise of cameraman Ramesh Babu is using three cameras minimum for this 125 days schedule. The 535, steady and Jimmy Jip are regular for this film he says.

Recalling the muhurut that took place on last Friday at Kalmata in Kittur of Belgaum, District director Naganna said the presence of prominent swamijis from Kodi Math, Hukkeri, Athani, politicians Siddaramaiah, Mathigatti, HK Patil brought cheer for the team. When the gloriously dressed Dr Jayaprada and Darshan (Kittur Rani Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna) appeared the 5000 plus crowd was in full joy.

After five days schedule in Hyderabad the major schedule of 20 days for ‘Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna’ starts from 26th of this month disclosed Naganna.
