The storm of Indian cinema Nana Patekar, who is known for cool and fiery roles simultaneously, maiden Kannada cinema ‘Yaksha’ is hitting the screen all over Karnataka.

Nana Patekar has danced for this film too besides mouthing powerful dialogues. He appears in this Swamy Associates big budget cinema ‘Yaksha’ for 27 minutes after interval.

After dubbing for his portions Nana told that in case the film is excess and director Ramesh Bhagavath finds it lagging he can apply scissors for his portions too. Remembering this producer Siddaraju said “Nanaji was humble and disciplined in his work throughout”.

Thanking the presence of such a powerful actor producer TP Siddaraju had competition from television channels for acquiring the rights of the film. Even before the start of Nana Patekar’s shoot for Kannada film Udaya TV offered Rs.85 lakhs as one shot payment but producer TP Siddaraju wanted the portions of Nana Patekar to complete and dub his voice. When this happened Zee Kannada channel came with offer of Rs.1 crore and 2 lakhs for ‘Yaksha’ which producer TP Siddaraju accepted.
