Director Sanjay of ‘Namma Preethiya Ramu’ which he directed with Vijay for six years, missed the launch of a few films, has forced him to finish the shooting of his new film ‘Raaji’ starring Manojkumar, Swathi, Rani in the lead roles to appear before the media.

The family life is at stake, how it is solved through compromise is all about ‘Raaji’. For an incident in Bellary, Dhanush Palani has penned the screenplay. Patel Devaraj Mandyan has done the dialogues and also penned five songs.

Producer cum hero of the film Manojkumar, a businessman from Mysore (he is in to solar business) says this acting is new to him. At the start of the project he wished to invest in the film but he was drawn in to acting. Feeling the need of training in acting Manojkumar said he has liked the script of Sanjay.

The film ‘Raaji’ is at the rerecording state. It will be released in August. In forty days director Sanjay has completed the shoot in Tumkur district.

‘Raaji’ has music from John Peter and cinematography is done by Balaganesh. Asha, Akash, Rajeshwari, Baby Raji and Master Mohan Patel, Nakshatra and Mohan Juneja are also in the cast.
