The third generation from the family of producer cum director Shankar Singh and famous actress of yesteryears Protima Devi, Rishika Singh is making her film debut opposite the muscular hero Vijay in ‘Kanteerava’ under the banner of Ramu Enterprises.

Rishika Singh is the daughter of nationally acclaimed director S V Rajendra Singh Babu and sister of actor Aditya. Rishika’s aunt is the famous actress and director Vijayalakshmi Singh and uncle is the well known produce Jai Jagdeesh. Rishika’s original name is Rohini. It is in her name Rohini Enterprises several films were produced by the family before.

A Fashion Designer from Mount Carmel College Rishika got trained in acting at Kishore Namith Kapoor School of acting in Mumbai for six months.

The prestigious banner Ramu Enterprises is taking up ‘Kanteerava’ a remake of ‘Simhadri’ Telugu film in which Rishika plays the female lead. Tushar Ranganath will be directing this movie.

Shubha Poonja is another heroine in ‘Kanteerava’ opposite Vijay. The film is going on the floor in March.
