Three Kannada films are hitting the screen for the Christmas festival. On 25th of December that happens to be Friday Puneeth Rajakumar and Priyamani starring ‘Ram’, Yashas, Meghana and Prema starring ‘Shishira’ and newcomers Jaggi and Kavyasri starring ‘Naan Madidh Thappa’ are the films going to contest in the box office.

The high expectations is obviously on Aditya Arts ‘Ram’ that is a remake of Telugu film ‘Ready’ and this is the debut for national award winning actress Priyamani in Kannada. The star cast of this power star Puneeth Rajakumar in the lead ‘Ram’ is also huge. There are 20 plus prominent actors of Kannada cinema in the cast. V Harikrishna has scored the music and Krishnakumar is the cameraman of ‘Ram’.

‘Shishira’ a film on the ‘God and Ghost’ by debutant Manju Swaraj as director has received good response from the industry after the premier shows held a fortnight ago. The film also boasts of special effects and graphics. Yashas, Meghana, Prema and 7.5 feet Santosh are in the cast. Ajanish Lokanath has scored the music. Niranjan Babu is the cameraman.

To err is human is the concept of ‘Nan Madidh Thappa’ Kannada film. How to over come the error is what the newcomer Veerendra Patil in his debut direction shows on the screen. Kantharaj and Rajasekhar have jointly produced ‘Nan Madidh Thappa’ Jaggi alias Jagadish is in the lead with Kavyasri. Jaggi has acted in sundry roles in seven Kannada films. He is the one who make a mistake and question to himself whether he has done it right or wrong.
