The Kannada film Sugriva a two hours and 15 minutes commercial entertainer with all the Navarasas all set to complete the shoot in 18 hours finished the task on Sunday night at 11.55 pm just five minutes earlier to the schedule time at Rajarajeswari Medical College location in Bangalore. The Namana Films producer Anaji Nagaraj and nearly 1500 artists, technicians and workers who worked for this mammoth film were up in joy after finishing the task. The 18 hours Kannada film shoot at one main location near Kengeri and the other one at Mallasandra were looking full of activities as the 10 directors and 12 cameramen in the leadership of Prashanth (Malayalam film director who made a film Bhagwan starring Mohan Lal in 19 hours a film of 71 minutes duration Adbhutham was made in 2005 shooting in 2 hours and 14 minutes by director Jayaraj).

The 66 scenes for Sugriva were handled by directors Nagashekar, Anantharaju, PN Sathya Om Prakash Rao, Pramod Chakravarthy, Ambari Arjun, Vijay (of un released Gubbi), Nagendra Magadi Pandu and Raghav Loki. Hat trick hero Shivarajakumar took part in 44 scenes while Yagna Shetty the heroine in 27 scenes and Master Chiranjeevi in 40 scenes appear of the film. There are 60 artists team and shoot is in twenty two locations. The artists who were seen are Raju Thalikote, Prakash Heggodu, Ninasam Ashwath, Anitha of Psycho, Manju Bashini, Hari, Dilipraj, Achuth Rao, Mico Shivu, Harini, RG Vijayasarathy and others.
Hat trick hero Shivarajakumar was cool at the rehearsal and tension built up in him on the previous night of shooting. He checked his BP and found it low. He was advised to take rest for a few hours before the shooting. On the process of shooting he has gone back to his Adayar Film Institute Days. He is very happy with the task ahead and feels proud to be a part of this film.
Sugriva is an emotional package where the protagonist takes the entire hospital as hostage and looks at the needs reaching the poor and needy becomes top priority. When the hijack of the hospital reaches the government and police department all efforts are made to convince the protagonist but Army had to be deployed for tackling the issue. What happens outside the hospital is also interesting part.
Director-Cameraman duo PN Satya-Niranjan Babu, Nagshekhar-Satya Hegde, Omprakash-Manohar, Pramod Chakravarthy-Giri, Arjun-Vishnuvardhan, Pandu-Venu Murthy, Vijay-M R Seenu, Raghava Loki-Shekhar Chandru were backed for nearly 65 personnel for each team.
