‘Porkhi’ progressing

The challenging star Darshan and new beautiful heroine Parinitha in the lead role ‘Porkhi’ – presented by journalist Ganesh Kasargod and produced by Bachche Gowda is progressing fast. Recently a chilling action scene between Darshan and Ashish Vidyarthi was shot at Minerva Mill. Ashish Vidyarthi is doing what Prakash Rai has done and what Ashish Vidyarthi has done in original film ‘Pokkiri’ in Tamil talented Shobaraj is doing in Kannada film ‘Porkhi’.

‘Porkhi’ has more than dozen specialties to treat the fans of Darshan and fill the box office easily. Darshan once again challenges by participating in dangerous action scenes without dupe. Among the other highlights actress Sangeetha Shetty is playing the vamp role for the first time. Mohan B Kere the prominent art director erected a wonderful daba set with the backdrop of Bangalore Palace and railway line to suit the situation for the song says director MD Sridhar who is known for giving many 100 days films in the past.

Nearly 30 days of shooting for ‘Porkhi’ was held in Bangalore roads, studios and sets. Krishnakumar is the cameraman and Harikrishna scores the music. Santosh Pai is the executive producer.

There has been pretty good reports about the debutant Parinitha who took training in Abhinaya Tharanga acting school in Hanumanthnagar before appearing on the sets. Devaraj, Ashish Vidyarthi, Avinash, Shobaraj, Manoj, Dharma, Sangeetha Shetty, Chitra Shenoy, Sadhu Kokila, Sharan and others are in the cast.
