After finishing her debut Tamil film ‘Krishnaleelai’ in the direction of stalwart director K. Balachander the pretty Meghana Raj signed the Telugu film ‘Bendu Appa Rao’ and she is now in ‘Polladhavan’ Tamil remake in Kannada ‘Punda’ opposite the upcoming hero Yogish.

Meghana Raj a student of second year degree in Psychology from Christ College is the daughter of star couple on Kannada screen Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai both have put two and half decades of service in acting. Meghana Raj a practical analyst according to her parents is performing what Divya Spandana (Ramya in Kannada) had done in Tamil film ‘Polladhavan’ that starred Dhanush in the lead role.

Meghana Raj first debuted on stage when she was a child with her father Sunder Raj in the play ‘Jokumaraswamy’. After she came to second year PUC the noted director KB invited her to act in cinema but on the first occasion she declined. When Meghana Raj went with her parents to ‘Poi’ audio release in Chennai she was again asked by KB. The second time Meghana Raj happily agreed to act. That’s how she got selected to ‘Krishnaleelai’.

The Telugu film opposite Nallarish Naresh yet to complete she agreed one for her home language and plays a cute and naughty role in ‘Punda’.

Patience, respect and time sense are the essential factors the proud parents Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai have advised to Meghana Raj. Keeping identity in her performance is what the parents hope in the near future of her daughter.
