The Power Star Puneeth Rajakumar is following the foot steps of his father Dr.Rajkumar. After the super hit song for 'Sampathige Savaal', Yaare Koogadali Oore horadli in the yesteryear of Dr.Rajakumar, replaced Dr.P.B.Srinivas as playback singer to his films, as he had the mellifluous voice. Dr.Rajkumar not only sung the songs for his films, has also showed his mettle in devotional songs.
He has also sung frequently for outside banner films. The last song of Dr.Rajakumar was for 'Prema Dhare' that was released this year but the song was recorded years ago.
Now the welcome news is that Puneeth Rajakumar has sung a high pitch song for his elder brother Shivarajkumar in the film 'Lav Kusha' which also stars Upendra, Jennifer Kotwal and Charmi in the lead roles. Puneeth Rajkumar did recording for two days at Prasad Recording studio in Kanteerava studios for the song Hottappa Hottu Sakathu hottu. Kaviraj has written the song and Gurukiran is the music director of this film.
Puneeth Rajkumar sung a song Talibaan Alla Alla... for 'APPU' his debut film, which was written by actor cum director Upendra. That song became a big hit. Earlier to this Puneeth Rajakumar rendered his voice to Shivarajkumar in the film 'Rishi' it was a Bhangra song.
Superstar Shivarajkumar was present at the recording of the song by his brother. This song sequence was shot at Singapore recently. Chytra is the co-singer for Puneeth Rajkumar. When this song shooting was going on at Singapore, we decided to make Puneeth Rajkumar to sing this song, says producer K.Prabhakar who made 'Anna Thangi' the mega hit film starring Shivarajkumar and Radhika last year. He has plans to release the audio album of 'Lava Kusha' in the first week of November and release the film at the end of this month.
