Film Industry support bundh

The Karnataka Bundh on 12th February 2007 protesting against the Cauvery Tribunal verdict would get the entire support of the Karnataka Film Industry.

The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce headed by Tallam Nanjunda Shetty convened a meeting on Thursday to discuss on the proposed bundh.

The Artistes association lead by Dr.Vishnuvardhana, Ravichandran, Shivarajkumar Darshan, Sudeep, Kannada Film Directors Association President T.S.Nagabharana, Producer association representative S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu and Karnataka cinema workers federation President Ashok attended the meeting.

There will be no film activity and screening of films on 12th of February 2007 it was unanimously agreed.

On 13th February the entire Kannada film industry would assemble at Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and go on a procession to submit the memorandum to the Governor of Karnataka at Raj Bhavan.

After finding the outcome for the protest, further decision will be taken it is reliably learnt.
