Sonia Gandhi to see 'Cyanide'?

According to one of the partners of Kannada film 'Cyanide' Mr Muralidhar Halappa the Congress President Sonia Gandhi has evinced interest in watching the film made on Rajiv Gandhi assassinators. Two years of effort has been put in for making 'Cyanide' the inside story by director AMR Ramesh. The twenty days life of Rajiv Gandhi assassinators before consuming the cyanide when the police cordon from all quarters at Konakakunte house in Bangalore is the crux of the film 'Cyanide'. Ravi Kale, Thara, Malavika, Avinash, Ranayana Raghu, Nazar are in the lead roles of this film. Rathnavelu is the cameraman of this off beat film.

'Cyanide' was received very well by the audience at the American Kannada Koota Association – 4th AKKA Vishwa Kannada Sammelana. There was demand for DVD's of 'Cyanide'.

In Karnataka 'Cyanide' was released with 19 prints and it has completed more than 50 days screening in many centers.

The Tamil rights of 'Cyanide' fetched Rs.1 crore for the producers.
