Love poet K.Kalyan is touching on his favorite subject and ekes out time to write story, screenplay and dialogues for the first time to newcomers 'Ibbani' Kannada film. Kalyan the humble and workaholic lyricist of Kannada cinema shot in to fame from 'Amrutha Varshini' has written more than 1000 songs for Kannada films and he is also a reputed music director. He has coined new words in this 'Ibbani'. He says 'Ibbani' is the story that the eyes look at, the mind's screenplay and dialogues from the heart and of course with pure love the songs.

This is Kumar film's maiden production and producer Sureshkumar hails from Coorg. Nageshwara Rao is the cameraman.

Speaking to media persons at the song recording of the film 'Ibbani' Kalyan said he agreed for the multiple responsibilities because of pure affection. There might be fake love but love itself is not fake explained Kalyan.

Abhiman music director of 'Ibbani' has scored music for Kullara Loka, Amaasa, Bhakta, and Dr.Ambedkar Kannada films. There are seven songs in the film.
