In the two releases on Christmas Day – Thursday, the common factor was Chitradurga Fort. In Mr and Mrs Ramachari the famous tourist spot of Chitradurga fort is quite often shown and in the climax the standing figures of Dr Vishnuvardhana and Shuba (Ramachari and Margaret in Nagarahavu) is erected at the tip of the fort as a symbol of lovers who fall from height and dies after Chamayya Meshtru (Dr KS Ashwath) dies from falling of a height at this fort in Nagarahavu` climax.

It is at this place the climax of Mr and Mrs Ramachari` is also shot. Ramachari and Margaret are the names of Yash and Radhika Pandit in this film. They sit in front of the huge statue of lovers. I thought you would miss but you have becomes misses says Ramachari. It was tragedy in Nagarahavu` of 1972 but is happy ending in this film that has shadow of the yesteryears film.

In the film Jothi alias Kothiraj` the Chitradurga Fort is a frequently on screen because the achievement starting point for hero of the film, real life rock climber Jothiraj commenced from this place. Climbing the fort like a monkey Jothiraj became Kothiraj. The people appreciation he received from such a climbing without support got him a profession and world ranking too. In the film made on his partial life sketch Jothiraj climbs Chitradurga fort on a few occasions.
