Very rarely thought provoking and social concern films are made. Even after 66 years of Indian independence some of the dreams of Mahatma Gandhini are not yet fulfilled. The dreams of father of nation in Gandhiji Kanasu` set for release on 15th of August in Northern parts of Karnataka.

First time producer and director with story, screenplay and dialogues Ramesh S Paravinakara has not yet got the theatres for Bangalore release. He is happy with the release in Northern part of Karnataka because the ideals of Gandhiji are more relevant in such rural areas.

The main focuses of Showchalaya, Cleanliness, Education, stopping of child marriage, freedom to women in society` are discussed in this film. Ramesh Paravinkara has invested Rs.1 crore on the project. Money is not important but reaches to the society the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi is his main motto.

As Village Panchayat member he has provided Showchayala to 18 places of 22 places that come in his boundary. HK Patil, SR Patil, Shivalli, Thimmapura all politicians at different stages in the film.

Roopika thin and beautiful looking from weight loss of 11 kilogram is in the role of Panchayat Development Officer. It is a role that is matured according to her.

Veteran folk singer and composer Gururaj Hoskote giving the touch of Uttar Kannada dialect for his six songs has done one in Chake De Karnataka….like Chak De India` style.
