It is ‘Veera Pulakeshi’ a tough cop job in the debut for Bharat Sarja – third from the family of top Tamil action hero Arjun – first it was Chiranjeevi Sarja from ‘Vaayputra’, Dhruva Sarja from ‘Addhuri’ and now Bharat Sarja from ‘Veera Pulakeshi’.

Without making much sound this real life based story for Bharat Sarja is hitting the silver screen on 25th of this month. Getting the cop role in the debut is not that easy – go ahead was the blessings of Arjun for his sister son Bharat Sarja.

Bharat Sarja is on a breeze in ‘Khaaki’. He does not worry about anything and goes ahead on beating the wrong doers. This is based on a real life happening in early 90. Some of the cops were killed in an encounter with fugitive Veerappan. One of the killed cops son grows up in life and become a cop. He is given right support by a top cop in service. Taking on the job of his father is this Bharat Sarja role.

Director Manjunath Babu of ‘Veera Pulikeshi’ has studied the life of killed cop and his family.

‘Veera Pulikeshi’ it is birth of Bharat Sarja as actor and his brother Vijeeth as music director. Rekha is female lead. Ravishanker is baddie in this film. Ma Ba recalled how he convinced maternal uncle of Bharat Sarja – Arjun on his script and screenplay. According to Bharat Sarja debutant it is a dialogue based cinema and he feels pride at the moment for working in such a film. Vijeeth and Chandan are debut music director of this film.

Veeresh is co producer of the film. Main producer Girish is of the opinion that release of the film is toughest but not the production of the film.
