Two weeks wait for ‘Barfi’ Kannada cinema. This is on the advice of senior producer Soorappa Babu the film ‘Barfi’ deferring its release. From 9th of August decided earlier the film is releasing on 16th or 23rd August 2013.

‘Barfi’ is the debut film of KM Shanker that has story, screenplay and direction Shekar. As Rajasekhar this Shekar directed and produced two films ‘Amrutha Vaani and Parole’.

Gundlupet Suresh still photographer turned cameraman from ‘Parole’ is behind the camera of ‘Barfi’. Arjun Janya scores the music BA Madhu dialogues, Jayanth Kaikini, Kaviraj, Ghouse Peer, Hrudayashiva lyrics, KM Prakash editing, Harsha choreography are part of this film. Harish Raj, Dilip Raj, Pavithra Lokesh, Shanthamma, Suchindra Prasad, Kuru Pratap and others are in the supporting cast of ‘Barfi’.

Screening songs of the film ‘Barfi’ director Shekar expressed that he is very confident of good results for his third film. He has extended open invitation for the audience and media to come to his film with high expectations. Music director Arjun Janya has made more improvisation in the re recording for the film. The team of artists also given full cooperation in making a very good film ‘Barfi’ he says.

Lead actor of the film ‘Barfi’ Diganth felt very happy for the confidence level of the director. The film is good in many angles for family audience he feels.

Well known producer Soorappa also present at the media briefing said nearly 10 films are lined up for release on 9th of August from various languages made him to advice his friend producer KM Shanker to defer the release of ‘Barfi’.
