As expected Kannada film ‘Silk’….Sakkath Hot Maga that has changed title from ‘Dirty Picture’ is getting very good demand in the market before release.

Set to screen blaze on August 2 the proud producer R Venkatappa (lost heavily from his last film Ganga Cauvery) has invested Rs.6 crores on this Kannada film ‘Silk…Sakkath Hot Maga’. The BKT has returned Rs.2 crores for him. There is demand from 135 theatres in Karnataka. Nearly 40 theatres not screening Kannada films at all are in the queue to take this hot and sensational film on the travails and tribulations of a heroine in the contents. The film will be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam languages. There are chances of reshoot of 20 percent keeping in view the comedy track. According to Trishul ‘Silk’ will be in around 16 languages.

Director Trishool is happy mainly because the recognition coming via ‘Silk’. This is a must watch for women. Most of them would wipe their tears and come out in a luxuriously made film he says. The film is certified as ‘A’ grade by regional censor board but it is family watching cinema he says.

I am still in tension and anxiety says actor Akshay son of producer R Venkappa. Tension is because of huge investment on the film and he is the executive producer. Anxiety because he is in negative shade and how it would be accepted is a question mark in his mind.

DTS Engineer Palani says this is a full pack feel filled cinema. Veena is a good performer. She has ability to stay strong.

Veteran actor Srinivasamurthy known for his grand acting and excellent skill in dialogue delivery in the last three decades is in strong negative shade of ‘Middleman’. Women would dislike me for this role. It is just a role for me and according to me all actors should perform all kinds of roles. When doyen like Dr Rajakumar was in negative shade of ‘Hiranyakashipu’ that is an indication for actors like me he says.
