The Tamil film of 2012 a crime thriller Vazhakku En 18/9 made with some nativity changes and addition of songs by Mahesh Rao is all set for theatrical release on August 9. The media screening is three days in advance on coming Monday.
The Tamil version was dubbed to Telugu as 'Premalo Padithe' and Malayalam film is titled as 'Black Butterflies'. The team of producers, actor and technicians addressed media on the happy occasion of good response to the film.
Remake is more difficult than doing an original says director Mahesh Rao. There is a bench mark for remake but not for films with original subjects he says. According to him from this remake film he got another remake of Engeyum Eppodum.
Actors Niranjan, Abisekh, Sindhu Lokanath, Shwetha Shetty are looking for good results from this natural film that has wonderful message to the society.
Kari Subbu recalled that two of Balaji Shakthivelu films were processed in his Chennai studio while two of his remakes are processed in Bangalore studio Balaji Digital studio of his at Abbaianaidu studio.
