This time, it is not virtual, but the heat is real. Unfortunately, ace director Maniratnam's Godown caught fire, on June 18th. The storage hub, on North Crescent Road in T Nagar, Chennai, was spotted fuming and going up in flames and a fire alarm was sounded immediately.
Fire fighters from 6 fire stations, ably fought the blazing fire for two hours, and brought down the flames successfully. However, this has caused huge losses to the director, mainly in terms of his creative vent. The studio housed shooting equipments, sets, camera stands, logs of wood, costumes, film roles, etc. The Chennai Police has filed a case and is investing the cause of fire.Follow us on Google News and stay updated with the latest!
