This week is a battle between a woman oriented ‘Mahanadhi’ verses comedy flick ‘Radhana Ganda’. In Radhana Ganda also the prominence to woman character is high as the film has the shades of ‘My Wife is an actress’ film.

For actress Sanjaana this ‘Mahanadhi’ is very important as she feels it is career best role. She is expecting high. Like how the famous song of Dr C Ashwath – Ello Hutti Ello Beladhu….(written by Chandrasekhara Patil), a woman like river flows in different ways and reaches different spots in life.

Director Krishna Uppur is describing the trials and tribulations of a woman in this JJ cine productions (Udupi) maiden venture ‘Mahanadhi’.

‘Mahanadhi’ produced by Glen Doyas and Jerri Vincent Doyas has story, screenplay, dialogues and direction from Krishrinappa Uppur. Highly talented Sundarnath Suvarana is the man behind camera.

‘Mahanadhi’ is the first combination of talented actor but not focused in the main lead after ‘Boy Friend’ – Dilipraj and Sanjaana the popular heroine today in Kannada cinema. The supporting cast is too big for ‘Mahanadhi’. Rangayana Raghu, Lokanath, Shobaraj, Malathi Sardeshpande, Padmini Prakash, Muni, Rakesh, Gururaja Hoskote all popular supporting actors today are clubbed with local talents like Pankaja Ravishanker, Vincent Kalyanpura, Udupi Raviraj, MS Bhat, Dhaamodhar Suvarana, Raghuraj, Dr Sukanya Martin, Pradip Chandra, VG Paul, Sripadha, Ravi, Korangra Padi, Dr Vijendra and others.

‘Radhana Ganda’ after many hiccups is hitting the silver screen and the trump card of this film is Komal Kumar. As husband of an actress how he faces the ordeals is explained in comedy style by Murugan.

‘Radhana Ganda’ is caught in controversy is produced by Shantha Pictures. Ravikumar is producer of this film after taking over from Confident Group.

The cinema has Murugan story, screenplay and directed the film. Manikanth Khadri has composed five songs. Prasad has edited the film.

Komalkumar is paired with Poorna as heroine. Arya, Poornakumar, Sudarshan, Kurigalu Pratap are also in the cast.
