‘Dakota Picture’ from Rockline Productions after ‘Super’ of Upendra and Nayanthara starring has completed shoot with an item song featuring Sneha a Mumbai based dancer and actress.

In two days evening atmosphere on a specially erected set at Rockline Studio a song was shot featuring Doddanna, Manadip Rai and others by dance director Murali.

‘Dakota Picture’ is comeback for a producer and director – Rockline Venkatesh and Om Prakash Rao after the super hit ‘Dakota Express’ in 2002.

‘Dakota Picture’ is a remake of ‘Malamal Weekly’ Hindi cinema made in 2006 by Priyadarshan runaway hit comedy film. Some nativity changes are made to this Kannada version says producer Rockline Venkatesh who also plays one of the main roles with N Omprakash Rao – hit combination of ‘Dakota Express’.

Most of the senior comedy actors are in this film. The lottery issue is interestingly woven; we have made nativity changes to the original film. The aspect of free given everyone ready to take is focused here.

Actor Doddanna plays Lachanna while Mukyamantri Chandru is Halappa. Sneha has accepted the project of a dancer in a song only because of the reputation of the banner. The dialogues in Kannada are penned by Yashwanth Sardeshpande.

Director N Omprakash Rao is very confident that this Kannada film would be a very good family entertainer with comedy at the center stage.
