Arulnidhi and Poorna are coming together for a rural flick is no longer news. However the film that was earlier titled ‘Sambhavum’ has now been rechristened as ‘Thagararu’ as the earlier title was already registered, say sources in the know.

‘Thagararu’ is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies and is directed by debutant Ganesh Vinayak. Music is by Ragunathan and editing by TS Suresh who has earlier worked with Cloud Nine Movies in acclaimed ‘Tamil Padam’ and ‘Thoonga Nagaram’. Comic relief is by Mayilsamy.

The film is set in the backdrops of Madurai and more than 15 days of shoot has already been wrapped. It deals with the lives of four friends played by Arulnidhi, Pawan, Dharun Shatriya and Murugadoss.

‘Thagararu’, as the name suggests, will be an out and out commercial entertainer.
