Even as he is getting ready for the release of 'Maatraan', there is a buzz that K V Anand would joins hands with Superstar Rajinikanth for his next movie, which would be a sci-fi thriller.

It was also said that the cinematographer-director, who took care of camera work in 'Sivaji', recently called on Rajini and narrated him a storyline, which impressed the Superstar a lot.

Clearing the air, Anand says, "I did not meet Rajini sir to tell any story idea. The Superstar is so simple and I can make a film with him. But I am afraid of his fans. I have to equip myself more to meet with their expectations."

Anand's 'Maatraan', starring Suriya in the lead role, is all complete but for a song. A grand music launch is being planned in Chennai soon, in which songs composed by Harris Jayaraj will be released
