Ameer's much delayed 'Aadhi Bhagavan', which has 'Jayam' Ravi in the lead, is being recorded on 7.1 surround sound, which is expected to give a totally new listening experience to the audience.

"A M Studio (of A R Rahman) is proud to introduce this technology to the south Indian film industry. Director Ameer's Aadhi Bhagavan will be the first tamil feature film to be mixed in 7.1 Surround Sound at standard resolution," said a press statement.

"This technology can be used to create more immersive cinema experience. Hollywood has already produced many films in 7.1 surround sound. Toy Story 3 is the first film to have 7.1 surround sound track," it added.

Meanwhile, Ameer will be shooting an action sequence and some talkie portions of 'Aadhi Bhagavan' in Jaisalmer and Jaipur from July 6. With that, the shooting will be finally wrapped up. The film has Neetu Chandra as the leading lady.
