For the last fortnight, the only discussion in the B-town seems to be centred on the opening that 'Housefull 2' would manage to take. So without really beating the bush, let the fact be stated that 'Housefull 2' is all set to take the biggest opening ever of Akshay Kumar's career. In fact not just him but even Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are now all set to enjoy the biggest grosser ever in their short and long career respectively.

In terms of numbers, the opening weekend is being pegged as anywhere between 40 crores to 50 crores. However the film is releasing on such a huge print count (it is seeing the highest ever release for any Bollywood film till date) that even 50%-60% occupancy across the country would ensure humungous collections. With multiplexes as well as single screens in the major centres of the country expected to boast of anywhere over 70% occupancy on the opening weekend, a successful outing is on the cards for this 'Housefull 2' team.

A few did question its pull when the first promo was out. As is the case with any big film, 'Housefull 2' too saw its fair share of followers and detractors. However over a period of time it's songs started becoming popular while the newer promos have been even more appreciated, hence ensuring that there is a widespread curiosity to check out the film. Moreover with recent biggie 'Agent Vinod' not quite fulfilling audience expectation, there is hunger amongst 'aam junta' to catch a 'masala' entertainer.

If Sajid Khan's claim and confidence of 'knowing what his audience wants' is anything to go by, 'Housefull 2' is a sure shot success.
