Don't go by the get-up of Venkatesh, who has grown a stylish beard for the film with Meher Ramesh, and judge it as a Bollywood film. It is a pucca Telugu entertainer, say the makers of the tentatively titled film, Shadow. Produced by Paruchuri Kiriti, the film also stars Srikanth in a good role. Tapsee and Madhurima are the female leads.

The puja event of the film was performed at Ramanaidu Studios. The event was attended by D Ramanaidu, who switched the camera on, and VV Vinayak, who gave the first clap.

Speaking at the event, Venky said that the film is a big commercial entertainer that will be worthy of special mention in his career. Kona Venkat, the dialogue-writer, said that the story was written in a span of 10 days. He said that the film will be in the true style of Meher's previous films.

The film will be shot in Australia's Sydney and Melbroune, besides Mumbai and Hyderabad. Meher felt happy that he is working with Venky so early in his career.

SS Thaman has already completed composing the intro song for the movie.
