This 'Tsunami' has nothing to do with the havoc of 26th December 2004 in India. 'Tsunami' according to director Makam Manohar story writer is the attack this Indian subcontinent is receiving from Pakistan. With such dangerous subject (prevalent today with Kasab in custody) the film was rejected certificate by the Regional Censor Board two years ago. The film was launched four years ago.
Raju Patil producer of the film received wrath at the revising committee and in Delhi Tribunal this film was passed with 'A' certificate for hard hitting dialogues against the arch rival Pakistan.
For 'Tsunami' there is paucity of theatres. With a series of films released in the last few weeks Ko Ko Koli Kothi, Sidlingu, Shakthi, Vishnuvardhana, Shyloo, Sarathi doing good business this film Tsunami is releasing in one theatre of Bengaluru.
It is a struggle for producer Raju Patil on screen with six action scenes and off the screen in obtaining censor certificate. Makam Manohar has penned the story, screenplay and directed the film.
Raju Patil with Sonia, Rangayana Raghu, Doddanna, Tennis Krishna, Bullet Prakash, Harish Roy, Killer Venkatesh, Joe Simon, Gazar Khan, Dingri Nagaraj, Biradar, Bank Janardhan and others are in the cast.
Gauri Venkatesh is the cameraman and Sadguna Raj has composed the film music. This is the last film of recently demised action director Tiger Madhu. Thriller Manju, Kaurava Venkatesh are also action directors of this action movie. Srinivas Kaushik has penned the dialogues.
