The Mungaru Male heroine has finally landed in the political party of Janata Dal Secular of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda for which state leader is HD Kumaraswamy former chief minister and MP.

Pooja Gandhi official innings in politics begins from Wednesday – 18th of January 2012. She turned up at JDS office and in a simple veteran politician MC Nanaiah legislative council leader, Ms Jyothi Reddy and YSV Dattha handed over the JDS flag to the actress.

Pooja Gandhi speaking on this occasion said she is inspired from the works of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy. I have closely studied the people oriented programs of two veterans of my party and that has made me to join this political party.

When HD Deve Gowdaji was Prime Minister in 10 months he has taken up various programs for downtrodden in the society made me very happy. When HD Kumaraswamy was the Chief Minister of Karnataka the Janata Dashan, living in village houses (Gram Vasthavya) and other developmental works inspired me stated Pooja Gandhi.

I have joined politics because I want to take up more social service says Pooja Gandhi who intends to travel all over Karnataka with JDS as trump card.

'Gandhi' name is not only heard in Congress-I, it is also in national level political party of HD Deve Gowda Janata Dal Secular as Pooja Gandhi joins the party.
