The Kannada film title 'Adda' has further kicked up row after director, actor and producer Prem refusing the budge to the verdict of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.
'Prem Adda' should be produced by director Prem in his banner and not in the banner of Meka Films producer Muralikrishna. As of now for Meka Films the KFCC has not given the permission for the title 'Prem Adda' the knowledgeable KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar comes very clear.
According to KFCC President ÂPrem Adda; has been registered under 'Prem Pictures'. Without the title Meka Films has started the film and also released advertisements in the newspapers. It is not the right approach. For this aspect KFCC has written letter to producer Muralikrishna seeking explanation within seven days.
At the same time KV Chandrasekhar has clarified that there is no fuss in transferring the title from one banner to another. It has to come to the notice of the executive council meeting. In this case such thing has not happened adds KVC.
Director Prem reacting to all the controversy has stated that the KFCC is unnecessarily creating confusion. When I am having ÂPrem Adda title and working for producer Meka Films Muralikrishna the title obviously shift to the banner he pointed. Let us work and do good cinema is what Prem says in his short reaction.
