Famous as director and producer S Narayan has picked a script for his 'Appayya' from a stranger in Airport when he was on his way to Hyderabad from Bengaluru.

Give me Rs.25000 is the demand of a stranger for saving two lives. He was surprised with this asking S Narayan waiting for the travel asked the tragic tale of the middle age person three years ago. For that tragedy tale S Narayan has added lot of elements and made it as 'Appayya'.

Once again S narayan is banking on village background. His earlier films Dushta, Shyloo were with village backdrop and now in 'Appayya' he is shooting at a place where there is no water to drink. At the dry land area of Hiriyur the action block was shot by stunt director Different Danny featuring Kitty and Bhama.

Srinagara Kitty is village lad while Bhama is a village belle. Director Narayan made a forecast that Kitty might get a state award.

Srinagara Kitty gives full credit to director S narayan for shaping him up. Nanda and Sureschandra are friends to Kitty in this film. The dialogue before the media for Bhama was as expected.
