The five top heroes of 2011 are – Puneeth Rajakumar for success of 'Hudugaru and Paramathma', Kichcha Sudeep for success of 'Kempe Gowda and Vishnuvardhana', Srinagara Kitty from success of 'Hudugaru' and Sanju Weds Geetha. Kitty has one flop 'Panchamrutha' in which he was in a sundry role.

Challenging star Darshan won in biggest hit of the year 'Sarathi' and his 'Boss' was good in the collection initially. Even for controversy Darshan occupies the first place in 2011. The fifth big gainer in the year 2011 is Ajay Rao from 'Krishnan Marriage Story'.

Top heroine of the year is Deepa Sannidhi. In her debut 'Sarathi' and later in 'Paramathma' she showed her ability in acting and lovely screen presence.

Ramya occupies the second place for her hit films like Sanju Weds Geetha and Johny Mere Naam. For Ramya 'Dhandam Dashagunam' was super flop. Actress Ramya invested in two films in this year 2011.

Malayalam heroine Bhavana in 'Vishnuvardhana', Radhika Pandit in 'Hudugaru', Ragini for 'Kempe Gowda' success and item song in 'Kalla Malla Sulla' takes the credit among the five heroines. For Ragini 'Kanchana' was a failure. Nidhi Subbaiah had one hit 'Krishnan Marriage Story' and one flop 'Veerabahu', Aindrita Ray was good in ‘Paramathma’ and failed in ‘Manasina Mathu’.

The new find Olave Mandhara hero Srikanth takes the credit for 100 days run of the film. Akanksha Naresh making debut also got noticed. Director Jayatheertha, cameraman Ravikumar Sana and producer Govindaraju are all debutants from this film.
