A film in Banjara (Lambani) community 'Ek Chorir Geetha Ki' held the song recording muhurth recently and veteran playback singer BK Sumithra rendered a song for this film. What is interesting is that the singer of yesteryears P Kalinga Rao son Vasanth Kalinga Rao is the co singer.

'Ek Chorir Saki' meaning a tale of a girl is going on the floors in Om Prakash direction. Om Prakash is the son of former minister of Karnataka BT Lalitha Nayak.

The song recording for this was held recently at Madhura studio in Yeshwanthpur. The film 'Ek Choris Saki' is an attempt on the Lambani culture and heritage plus the love interest are tucked in it.

Ravi Keerthi is the music director. He is composing for five songs. Prakash Nayak has penned the story, screenplay and lyrics for the film. Rajasekhara Reddy is the editor.

Prakash Nayak is appearing in the lead role with Nachiketh, Muniraju, Lalitha Nayak, Roopa Yayak, Babu, Siddaraju as co stars. Monisha is the female lead.
