She is an accidental actor. Amala Paul never dreamed of becoming an actress in the first place. Films came to her by accident. When her modelling portfolio was liked by a Malayalam director, Neela Tamara fell in her lap. Even as she acted in some Mollywood films, she bagged films like Vikatakavi, Veerasekaran and Maina in Tamil.

Maina, dubbed as Prema Khaidi in Telugu, helped her get the notice of Ram Gopal Varma. Rest is history. Bejawada, where she acted with Naga Chaitanya, happened quickly.

Though this film is a huge flop, it did not stop the actress from zooming ahead. Her next with Sid is the biggest commercial film to have happened to her in her career. Titled as Love Failure, the movie is a bi-lingual that is produced by Siddharth.

She is also getting many offers in Telugu. However, she is not willing to give them the final nod as yet.
