The talented director with good track in box office via films of Shivarajakumar 'Santha', Sudeep's 'Ghooli', Darshan's 'Majestic, Shastri, Daasa' – PN Sathya is trying his luck as a full fledge actor from 'Pagal' with 'Mungaru Male' heroine Pooja Gandhi as heroine.

PN Sathya known for giving action based films and was in to controversy with regional censor board for his previous direction of 'Hodi Maga' that became 'Hat Trick Hodi Maga' starring Shivarajakumar has attempted something unique and thus procured U/A certificate.

Sathya is also partner to the film ‘Pagal’ with producer Muralidhar of 'Anjadhiru' flop film. 'Pagal' has a song from the 38 years old film 'Nagarahole'. KSL Swamee has rendered the song then and now. V Manohar in his music has introduced a few new talent in the lyrics and singing department.

Thulasi Shivamani, Bullet Prakash, Mico Nagaraj, Biradar, Harish Roy are in the cast of 'Pagal' for which Speed Babu is the cameraman.
