Kannada film actress of 'Huduga Hudugi' of producer Sandesh Nagaraj and director Indrajith Lankesh – Sowmya Gowda received more than 10 stab injuries from her boy friend Anilkumar on Monday afternoon and taking treatment at Baptist Hospital in Yelahanka.

Sowmya Gowda paired comedy actor Sharan in the film 'Huduga Hudugi' was deceived by Anil a suspended constable of reserved police in life. Anil did not disclose that he is married already to Sowmya and compelled her to marry him. When Sowmya disagreed he stabbed her from a knife at several places on her body. Sowmya shouting for help saved her from virtual death.

Sowmya is also in two other Kannada films that are under production. Anil has been arrested on the spot by Yelahanka police.
