The bubbly actress of Kannada cinema Harshika Poonacha highly qualified actress too presented the prizes at the Yuva Global - Yuva Prathiba - a Kannada speech competition for high school students on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava at Seshadripuram College Indoor auditorium on 14th of November 2011.

Charan R National High School Basaveswaranagara got the first prize on his speech in Kannada on ‘Naa Kanda Karnataka’ while Christy Pooja and Poorvi Hegde secured the second and third prizes. There were eight consolation prizes to the students among 300 participants from various schools of Bengaluru.

Mr Kiran Kagar, President of Yuva Global, Smt Shine Chengappa, MR Srinivas, Saroja Naidu, Uday Shetty were on the dais at the prize distribution.

A cultural program at the valedictory of the day long activities of Yuva Global followed the speeches and prize distribution. Young anchor Susmitha Sameera a final year B.Sc . student of Mount Carmel College and member of Yuva Global in her first conduct of the show made the event very lively and absorbing.
