The flamboyant journalist heading the tabloid 'Agni' Sridhar on the launch of new film from Megha Movies 'Edhegarike' - based on his novel for his screenplay says it is a new combination cinema. You find the flavor of Dr Girish Kasaravalli and Yogaraj Bhat mixed in it.

Agni Sridhar 'Edhegarike' missed at least 15 times for adaptation to silver screen and finally intelligent Sumana Kitthur showed guts in directing this film. In the last six years what could not happen is now reworked by Sumana Kitthur who directed Slum Bala and Kallara Santhe in Megha Movies. The film climax is written by Sumana Kitthur. 'Edhegarike' will be a mixture of commercial and offbeat quality films opines Sridhar.

Agni Sridhar directed 'Thamassu' but his preoccupation in various other works compelled Sumana Kitthur to direct 'Edhegarike'.
