The earlier government order for Quality subsidy committee and Karnataka state awards committee was revoked in the wake of age factor of KCN Gowda and Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana non acceptance because Dr Vishnuvardhana films were in the contest.

Now the Karnataka information department appointing Dwarakish in place of Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana for Karnataka state film awards for 2009-2010 has accepted six more films to the list of 48 films in the fray.

The films included after the due date are Raj the Showman (Puneeth Rajakumar film in Prem direction), Kaaranji, Jaala, Dildar, Male Bille and Olave Jeevana Lekkachara. It is the intervention of political persons these films were added says the sources at Karnataka information department.

Those who have made the late entry disclose that the request was granted by the government as some of the producers were not properly aware to submit the films for the awards.
