In the feature film of 'Attahasa' there is a significant role related to Dr Jayalaalitha Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. For the portions of the TN Chief Minister actress Jayachitra has been selected by the director. Jayachitra has given her consent for the prime role according to the sources.

Director AMR Ramesh held the muhurut for the film at his residence a fortnight ago. He has announced the thorough research done on the topic of 'Attahasa' - his bilingual Kannada and Tamil film. For the Dr Rajakumar episode - kidnap by forest brigand Veerappan the Hindi actor Suresh Oberoi has agreed to participate in the film.
