The popular hero of hundred films Shivarajakumar affectionately known as 'Shivanna' is 'Shiva' in the production of KP Srikanth and Kantharaj. The film went on the floors at Doddaganapathi Temple on Friday morning.

Srikanta Datta Wodeyar, superstars Puneeth Rajakumar, Upendra, Smt Geetha shivarajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar and others took part in the muhurut.

Shivarajakumar has recently given 100 days 'Mylari' for producer Kanakapura Srinivas and KP Srikanth. He is now working in the same banner for the fifth time.

'I carry the qualities of Lord Shiva in this social film'. There is anger, happiness and forgiving attitude. This is a screenplay based cinema. Every shot is taken care with lot of interest. Shiva is the ultimate rider. He rides on different characters with the qualities of lord Shiva. Swamiji of Hyderabad has done the story after seeing films of Shivanna continuously for five years. The shooting in one stretch will be held in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and China. Shivarajakumar and Omprakash Rao combination is happening again after 10 years. It was a blockbuster 'AK 47' the two had given.

KP Srikanth is of the opinion that Shivanna is doing a socially revolutionary subject first time in his career.
