At last the film announced by Hamsalekhe and Rathnaja ‘Bagina’ is in new again. Hamsalekha the acclaimed music director is turning director from this village based film ‘Bagina’.

Busy with Hamsalekha Desi College of Performing Arts and scoring music for Kannada films, Hasalekha long dream is surfacing soon. ‘I came to the cinema industry to become a director from the inspiration of Gurudut and Shantharam. I wanted to blend the style of the two stalwarts in those days says Hamsalekha.

After 30 years and 300 films to his credit is turning his interest again in direction. ‘Bagina’ will be a film with moral values and traditionally rich. There will be two newcomers in this film and well known faces are part of this film.

For the launch of ‘Bagina’ Hamsalekha is making preparations. He is conducting two days workshop on ‘Bagina’ and ‘Shivarathri’ written by Dr Chandrasekhar Kambara.
