Sangeetha in the lead, 'Dhanam' completed its shooting and is busy with its post-production work. G Shiva is the director of this film. Addala Venkat Rao and Selvam are jointly producing this film on their Lakshmi Vasanthi productions banner.

Recently a few scenes were shot in Ramoji Film city and in the surrounding areas of Charminar. Music maestro Ilayaraja is busy with re-recording for this film. The audio will be launched in first week of May and the movie will release in theatres in third week of May.

Kota Srinivas Rao, Girish Karnad, Aasish Vidyarthi, 'Shankarabharanam' Rajyalakshmi play important roles in this film.

"Ilayaraja's music and Sangeetha's action are biggest assets to our film. Sangeetha will earn as much fame as Vijayashanti for 'Prathighatana' and Suhasini for 'Sindhubhairavi'. She did a great job. Ilayaraja's eight songs will also appeal to movie lovers. The entire team did a fabulous job and we are sure the audience will like the output" director Shiva said.
