The controversy between Ramya and producer A Ganesh that started in the last week middle is now reaching boiling point. The producer sector has taken seriously the decisions made by Ambarish as head of the Kannada cinema artists association.
The KFCC and Kannada Cinema Producers Association on last Saturday evening amicably solved the crisis and a team to meet Ramya hand over the balance of remuneration and explain everything was also arrived.
But late on Saturday night Ambarish ruled at Artists Association meeting that Ganesh producer of Dandam Dashagunam should apologize and till then Kannada cinema artists should not take part in the films of producer A Ganesh. At this meeting the order was also made for Nee Illadhe producer to settle Pooja Gandhi balance of payment and then release the film.
The KFCC meeting attended by Kannada film producers association has taken the decisions of Ambarish as a major blow and it has asked the actor Ambarish to give in writing. At the same meeting at KFCC it was decided that producer A Ganesh has not insulted or said bad things to Ramya and there is no question of apology.
A section of producers were up in arms against boycotting Ramya, Pooja Gandhi from Kannada films. For just Rs.3.70 lakhs balance why Rs.3 crores cinema of producer A Ganesh Dandam Dashagunam should be punished said a few producers. According to sources producer A Ganesh has decided to go with the release of Dandam Dashagunam without Ramya for publicity.
On Monday morning producer A Ganesh was supposed to sit on a dharna with his family members for the problems created to his film was pacified not to do so by his colleagues.
The condemnation of Kannada Cinema Artists Association Ambarish verdict is going to further add up to the injury.
