The queen of Indian cinema Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived at 6.30 pm to the massively erected dais for Vishwa Kannada Sammelana and she had to wait for two and half hours to give her short and sweet speech addressing the 70000 plus crowd.

When the actress of high reputation of this country Aishwarya arrived the attention of the crowd got diverted. Waving her hand at the crowd Aishwarya Rai sat in between Karnataka chief minister Dr BS Yediyurappa and Prabakar Kore the key man of Belgaum district.

Addressing the mammoth crowd Aishwarya Rai began her speech in Kannada and it was tolerable. ‘Samastha Kannadigarige Namaskara. Nimmellara Preethige Namaskara, Preethi Indha Karediddiri naanu Abaari’ – Nimagella Vandisuthene.

Later switching to Hindi Aishwaryaa Rai said ‘Kitya Pyar aur Sanman Diya, Ye Kahi Nahi Bulengi’ she said.

Later in the night in the dinner hosted by Prabhakar Kore the top notch Aishwaraya Rai took part. Jayanthi and Anu Prabhakar were the only invitees among the Kannada cinema industry to this dinner hosted to Aishwaryaa Rai.
