We all know that the once charming cute lover boy of the seventies Rishi Kapoor is a mast Punjabi.
In later years the actor has added more fat to his following by doing memorable roles in Dooni Chaar, Chintu Ji, Love Aaj Kal to name a few where he has got into the character with ease making everyone wonder how simple acting can be and how easy it is to make the audience proud of you as an actor.
The role of Rishi in Patiala House on first look appears to be a tailor made one for him but Rishi is a born professional having the genes of the B-town magician, the genius called Raj Kapoor.
Realizing that the character of a Punjabi man of South Hall London which Rishi is playing demanded authenticity of the Punjabi language, since he speaks a very young and contemporary Punjabi at home, the actor in Rishi wanted to be precise so.... He decided to go take help of all his aunts and learn the authentic Punjabi dialect and accent. He wanted to learn the old style of Punjabi which olden people used to speak.
Only after he had done with his home work and was completely prepared, Rishi started shooting for the film. No wonder his performance is always a reflection of his hard work!
Producer Bhushan Kumar is glad and shares, "The veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is most famous for his professionalism and that reflects his performance in all his films. As Bauji, in Patiala House he has done a great job and naturally that credits to his hard work and focus."
Wow, thats what we call true professionalism which always searches for perfection Perfection se yaad aaya Aamir are you listening or reading this..?
