The day long meeting and confusion at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce at last the fall out is only 24 screens for ‘Endhiran’ Tamil and Telugu versions in entire Karnataka.

In the morning additional 10 screens were granted but it was objected by some members quoting the recent verdict on the release of ‘Ravanan’. By evening the KFCC President Basanth Kumar Patil made a final judgment it is only 24 screens for ‘Endhiran’.

To get back the huge amount of Rs.8.50 crores paid for ‘Endhiran’ the three distributors – Mohankumar, Shrikanth and Muniraj Malleshpalya have decided to hike the theatre ticket prices. Rs.70 ticket is Rs.200 for ‘Endhiran’ starring Tamil super star Rajinikanth, Aishwaraya Rai Bachchan in the lead directed by Shankar and music by AR Rahman.

Whether the film ‘Endhiran’ will be released on 1st October is still a matter of discussion on the eve of the Allahabad court verdict on Ayodhya issue.
