Shweta Mohan has several reasons to be happy. And we will list out two. The singer is all set to walk the aisle with her long-time friend Ashwin and her song ‘Boom Boom Robo Da…’ in ‘Endhiran’ has become a chartbuster.

Daughter of popular playback singer Sujatha, Shweta will be entering wedlock with Ashwin next month, say circles close to her family. “Their engagement ceremony was recently held in Kerala and it was a cool affair.”

Says the singer, who started her career crooning the evergreen ‘Achcham Achcham Illai…’ when she was a child, “Ashwin is a great person. To be honest, he is much more passionate about music than I am.”

Buzz is that Shweta will settle in the United States after her wedding. The ‘Oh Maha Zeeya…’ (Thamizh Padam song) singer however says, “Music is my passion and I will continue to be in the singing field with support from Ashwin.”
