With five releases in the last week 30th July – ‘Gandedhe’, ‘Idhre Gopi Bidre Paapi’, ‘Nee Bandhu Nintaga’, ‘Gurukula’ and ‘Chandulli Cheluve’ this week four films are lined up – ‘Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu’, ‘Mathe Mungaru’, ‘Gang Leader’ and ‘Shambo Shankara’.

None of the five are promising in the box office and this week we have two biggies ‘Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu’ Rs.10 crore film starring Shivarajakumar, Sonal Chauhan and a film from ‘Mungaru Male’ producer E Krishnappa, ‘Mathe Mungaru’ starring Srinagara Kitty and Rachana Malhotra.

It is survival of the fittest of course in the box office but the film shot in Seven Wonders of the World ‘Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu’ has to win for hat trick hero Shivarajakumar and producer NM Suresh. This is the debut direction of Raghuram. Kabir Lal has done the cinematography and V Harikrishna has scored the music.

‘Mathe Mungaru’ like CNN has a north India heroine. Dwarkhi Raghav who directed ‘Iruvar Mattum’ is casting his hero Srinagara Kitty in this film. This is the third film of Dwarki in his career and is a four track cinema shot in Bangalore and Mumbai extensively.

‘Shambo Shankara’ failing to get more than one theatre ‘Bhoomika’ in Kempe Gowda Road is a comedy flick with three talented heroes – Naveen Krishna, Mohan and Vijay Chindodi. Chindodi Bangaresh has directed this film in which veteran actor Srinivasamurthy and Yamuna plays Shiva and Parvathi.

The fourth one of this week by Prabakar and Gopal in the Ramesh Raj direction ‘Gang Leader’ stars Adhi Lokesh, Yamini Sharma, Madhupriya, Kishor, Rangayana Raghu, Dharma Umesh, Prabhakar and others. Chandrasekhar is the cameraman and Abhiman Roy is the music director.
