Known for quick films, the 50 films director B Ramamurthy has completed the shooting for Pooja Gandhi in double role in ‘Rani Maharani’ ahead of schedule. The ‘Mungaru Male’ fame Pooja Gandhi doing what Malashri has done in the past in her first double role with the same title ‘Raani Maharani’ has confidently participated in the stunt scenes says director B Ramamurthy.

Director Ramamurthy’s brother B Sathyanarayana is the producer of this Dream Creations. The original film was produced by actor, producer and director Jai Jagdish.

There are two Akshay’s in ‘Rani Maharani’ and both of them are counterparts to Pooja Gandhi. Ramesh Bhat, Pramila Joshai, Sunder Raj, Biradar, Bank Janardhan, Dingri Nagaraj, Honnavalli Krishna, Mohan Juneja, Premalatha are in the supporting cast.

Vinaychandra son of well known journalist Suresh Chandra has scored the music and he retains the popular song ‘Koogo Kolige khara Masale…’ from the original. Mallikarjun who has recently completed 100 films as cinematographer has taken up his 101 film.
