With rain of film releases on one side, the rain of film launches is also noticed in the wake of Ashada Masa (inauspicious month) that starts from July 12.

In the last week six films got released and none of them sailed through now this week we have three Kannada film releases.

Before 12th of July the commencement of Ashada Masa 12 films are going on the floors. ‘Rangappa Hogbitnanthe’ starring Ramesh Aravind and Sanjana in the direction of Prasanna for producer Ravikumar, ‘Vigna’ starring Vijaya Raghavendra, new talents ‘Crazy Krishna’ by Prashanth Mamballi (Malayalam films director who directed ‘Sugriva’ that was shot in 18), ‘Yuva Samrat’ by Manju Maskalmatti, V Ravichandran’s ‘Nariya Seere Kaddha’, Anaji Nagaraj’s ‘Thatasthu’, Sharan Kabbur’s ‘2012 Pralaya Agutha’, ‘Subramanyapura’, B Ramamurthy’s one more after ‘Raani Maharani’ are all set to launch before 9th of July.

One wonders how come so many films are being launched with disastrous results in the box office for Kannada films.
